An important cultural landmark is the pilgrimage church in Götzens. It was built between 1772 and 1775 according to plans by, or under the direction of, master builder Franz Singer. The church is also the final resting place of the martyr priest Otto Neururer. Another hike leads from the Götzner Alm along a forest road to the Mutterer Alm at an altitude of 1,608 m, taking about 40 minutes.
