Schönberg in the Stubai Valley: Holy Sepulchre and Cycling Route

Schönberg in the Stubai Valley lies where the Stubai Valley meets the Wipp Valley. The village has an unusual edge: the Brenner motorway, which crosses the Europabrücke, encloses it on three sides. The Stubai Cycle Route 19, officially opened in October 2025, starts in Schönberg and is signposted as far as Doadler Alm in Falbeson. The route connects Schönberg with Neustift, Fulpmes, Telfes and Mieders. Its average gradient is five per cent; it is suitable for e-bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes and balance bikes.
