Discover Billa Billa

Billa Billa brings together a Suncorp Agribusiness Summit Field Day, community club funding, a first-aid course and reported social evenings. A Pony Club provider is also listed at an address in town. For planning your trip, it is important to distinguish between a dated event, a reported local tradition and an activity that requires direct contact. First, check which occasion suits your travel dates and whether you may be able to attend; then you can tailor your holiday rental search accordingly.

Field Day, Club Funding and First Aid

The two-day Suncorp Agribusiness Summit 2024 included a Field Day at Billa Billa Sports Club on 13 March. The first day of the Summit was held in partnership with the Bigambul Nation. This links a specific agribusiness event with Billa Billa. If a similar occasion motivates your trip, check whether a new event date has been scheduled for a later time.

Billa Billa Sporting And Recreation Club Incorporated received AUD 2,500 through the Active Clubs program to provide opportunities for participation. This funding purpose is a separate connection to the community club, distinct from the Summit. AUD 3,000 was also listed for the Billa Billa Tennis Day of the Billa Billa Sport and Recreation Club in 2021. These amounts relate to different club and event contexts.

A free, nationally recognised two-day first-aid course for remote and isolated workplaces was scheduled at Billa Billa Sports Club on 27 and 28 May 2024. It was aimed at the local community. The Field Day and the course are therefore tied to specific dates in 2024 and cover different topics: agribusiness on the one hand and first aid on the other.

Community Club Life and Social Evenings

A report from March 2024 described monthly social evenings at the Billa Billa recreation club, attended by families from the region, not just farmers. The report describes them as a local tradition. The timing differs: the Tennis Day is associated with 2021, while the evenings were described as monthly in the 2024 report. If you plan to attend one of these evenings, ask locally for the current schedule.

Pony Club and Practical Contacts

Yarrill Creek Pony Club Inc. is listed as a “Pony Club” activity provider at 301 Yagaburne Boondandilla Road, Billa Billa, Queensland 4390. If you plan to attend, contact the provider directly in advance to coordinate options for your dates.

The phone number 4638 0011 is listed for Col Wilkie Bod Works in Billa Billa, Queensland. If you intend to rely on this contact during a trip, check in advance whether it is available for your needs.

Plan Your Stay Around the Occasion

When choosing a holiday apartment or holiday home, it helps to distinguish between a historical event date and an activity you need to arrange directly. The Summit Field Day and first-aid course are associated with dates in 2024; for the Pony Club, contact the provider, and for the social evenings, ask for the current schedule. If you want one of these connections to shape your stay, first confirm the date and whether you can participate.
