Lewis County: Lake, Park and Museums
Accommodation in Lewis County
Lewis County offers several different reasons to visit, from trails at Stonewall Resort State Park to historic collections. A regional page does not replace the exact location of an accommodation or current opening hours.
Trails and Water
Stonewall Resort State Park has more than 16 miles of hiking and biking trails. Stonewall Jackson Lake lies in the rolling landscapes of West Virginia. The trail length applies to the state park; it does not automatically describe the distance from a vacation rental.
History and Collections
Jackson’s Mill includes a gristmill built around 1841, which is now preserved as a museum. The Museum of American Glass displays more than 20,000 pieces of glass. The Museum of American Glass houses the National Marble Museum, which was previously in California. Jackson’s Mill and the Museum of American Glass are separate destinations; check visitor requirements and locations separately.
For more information about the area, see the subordinate entry for Weston. Plan an outing based on the specific offering, and avoid assuming that all the destinations mentioned are in the same location.
