Westlake Corner: Mini Golf, Cinema and Brewing Culture

Westlake Corner offers a varied mix of activities: Hot Shots features mini golf and a course with several water features, along with a cinema, indoor golf and a tasting room with a pub. Families can choose between playing together, a movie night and different golf options. Brewing culture is also part of the local scene. When choosing a vacation rental, the main consideration is therefore which experiences you want to shape your vacation.

Mini Golf with Ponds, Streams and a Waterfall

Hot Shots in Westlake Corner has a par-40 mini golf course with six ponds, three streams and a large, two-ton waterfall. Hot Shots also offers classic mini golf. The par rating gives the course a sporting character; the ponds, streams and waterfall are defining features of the facility. Those who enjoy including mini golf in their plans for shared activities will find a specific place to visit here. The water features described also make the course interesting to visitors who pay attention not only to the holes during a round, but also to the course’s design.

Cinema with Four Screens and Optional Hearing Assistance

Westlake Cinema is a 13,800-square-foot cinema with four screens, stadium seating and concessions. Two screens each have 128 seats, while the other two each have 174. This layout offers different screen sizes and makes the cinema a distinct leisure option in Westlake Corner. For guests with hearing impairments, the cinema offers optional headphones connected to an infrared USL hearing system. If you need this type of hearing assistance, it is a practical consideration for your plans. Going to the cinema also offers a different kind of group activity during your vacation than mini golf or golf practice.

Indoor Golf: Simulators, Lessons and Leagues

Birdies Where Are You offers state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators with advanced ball tracking and precise analysis. The facility also offers professional, coach-led golf lessons for all skill levels, as well as flexible leagues and open simulator times. Visitors can choose between lessons, a league and time on the simulator. This type of golf differs considerably from classic mini golf at Hot Shots: simulators and golf with technical analysis are the focus here. If golf is an important priority for your travel group, the different options provide a practical guide for planning your activities.

Westlake Towne Center and Local Brewing Culture

Westlake Towne Center is located at Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County, Virginia. It quickly developed into a central shopping and retail destination at Smith Mountain Lake. Brewing culture is also associated with the center: Sunken City Brewing Company is a 25-barrel, four-vessel brewhouse, with a tasting room and pub at Westlake Towne Center along Route 122. Those interested in brewing culture can make a visit their own focus when planning a trip.

The Smith Mountain Lake LOVEwork is usually displayed at Westlake Towne Center and gives visitors a good opportunity to take photos. Along with the center’s role as a shopping and retail destination, this gives a visit there a different emphasis from the sporting activities.
