Mills River: Park, Market and Farms

Mills River combines a town park with agricultural offerings. A riverside trail, a weekly market and a farm tour are different activities, each with its own schedule.

Riverside Park

Mills River Park is a 48-acre park at 124 Town Center Dr. Mills River Park has 1.25 miles of paved multi-use trails. The Mills River Park TRACK Trail takes visitors to the edge of the Mills River. The Mills River Park TRACK Trail is a 0.7-mile loop. The 1.25 miles of paved trails are not the same as the 0.7-mile TRACK Trail.

Market and Farm

The Mills River Farm Market is held every Saturday from May through October. The Mills River Farm Market has a demonstration kitchen where the public learns to prepare nutritious meals using locally purchased ingredients. North River Farms offers a one-hour farm tour with a hayride around its property in Mills River; along the way, visitors learn about cultivation, equipment, harvesting and the daily operations of a farm. North River Farms offers pick-your-own produce at its farm in Mills River. Market hours and farm tours should be confirmed in advance; pick-your-own availability depends on the season and farm operations.
