Fort William Henry brings life in a British fort in the 1750s to life. Demonstrations with muzzle-loading muskets and cannons give this historic site an engaging format. The Warren County audio tour offers another way to explore the region's history: it includes 21 locations from Queensbury to Johnsburg. GPS triggers spoken local stories, which are played through mobile phones or portable devices.

History is also present on the water. The Lake George Steamboat Company was founded in 1817 and has operated on Lake George for more than 200 years. It offers cruises on the Minne Ha Ha, the MV Mohican II and the Lac du Saint Sacrement. At the Warren County Fish Hatchery, the visitor center combines a self-guided tour with information about stocking. At the display pond, you can see adult trout up close.
