It also features the largest HO-scale model railway layout in the eastern United States. A 34-mile, two-hour round trip runs between Medina and Lockport through the Erie Canal Heritage Corridor.
The Medina Historical Society Museum in the Chase-Merritt House and the Holley Depot Museum offer further insights into local history. The second is located in a reconstructed railway depot originally built in 1907. In Medina, the Sandstone Hall of Fame, established in 2013, honors outstanding examples of Medina sandstone.

At Medina Falls, Oak Orchard Creek plunges 45 feet after flowing beneath the Erie Canal. Holley Falls is a 35-foot waterfall of red Medina sandstone in a wooded setting. Holley Falls Park has a picnic pavilion, a pedestrian bridge and hiking trails connected to the nearby Holley Canal Park. The waterfall can be reached from Public Square via Frisbee Terrace and Holley Falls Park Road.
