It starts in Paquetville at Circuit 7, then follows Route 135 south and Route 350 east. At the end, Circuit C8 meets Circuit C5; a sign marks the intersection. After this detour via the Inkerman Bridge, Circuit 8 offers a vehicle-free section away from road traffic. The planned new Inkerman recreational trail bridge is intended to restore continuity to the existing trail and will be almost 500 metres long. It is a planned project; for trip planning, the current crossing and the proposed bridge are therefore two different things.

The Pokemouche River shapes the landscape along which Circuit 8 runs. It is considered enchanting and is enjoyed year-round by anglers and hunters. The Inkerman Migratory Bird Sanctuary is located near the destination. It protects habitats used by numerous Great Blue Herons and other colonial-nesting birds.
