By-the-Lake Park is home to an artificial lake spanning 17 acres. A 2.5 km paved path goes around the lake, providing a clearly defined loop for a visit to the park. Wetaskiwin Ashoro Friendship Park honours the decades-long relationship between Wetaskiwin and its Japanese sister city, Ashoro. Its design is inspired by Japanese aesthetics. Performing arts and historic landmarks are also part of Wetaskiwin’s cultural offerings. Manluk Theatre for the Performing Arts is a non-profit community performing arts theatre. Experiences Involving Aircraft and Motorsports

Alberta Biplanes offers flights in a 1943 Boeing-Stearman biplane. Flights depart from Wetaskiwin Regional Airport (CEX3). This is a special option for travellers interested in aircraft. A different, group-oriented experience is available at Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin: a NASCAR Stock Car Test Drive Experience can be arranged there for private groups of 10 or more guests.
