Ak-Terek: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Near Ak-Terek, a path to the Blue Grotto in Kojo-Kelen leads through gorges, past waterfalls and red and orange rock formations. The Kojo-Kelen excursion reaches the 70-metre-high Pink Waterfall via a hike through red cliffs. The Kojo-Kelen hiking trail is described as easy; mountain footwear is nevertheless recommended.

A trekking stage from Kojo-Kelen to Jiptyk Pass follows the Ak-Buura Valley near Ak-Terek through alpine meadows and high-altitude pastures. Also near Ak-Terek, the road to Kyzyl-Shoro passes Papan Reservoir and then follows the Ak-Buura River.
