Feldis: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Feldis/Veulden is situated on a terrace on the slope of the Stätzerhorn range and is the northernmost village within the Domleschger mountain villages.

Nature

The summit of Mutta is in the immediate vicinity of Feldis. The peaks of Vogelstein, Mutta Sura and Taminser Calanda are also located around Feldis.

The former municipal area of Feldis/Veulden covered 758 hectares. Of this, 433 hectares were covered by forest and woodland, while 268 hectares were used for agriculture and consisted largely of alpine pastures.

Paspels Castle is a castle in the immediate vicinity of Feldis. Rietberg Castle is a castle in the surroundings of Feldis.

In the wider regional surroundings of Feldis lies Falkenstein Ruins, a ruin. The Chur Animal and Leisure Park, a zoo, is also located in the surroundings of Feldis.

Geographical location

Feldis/Veulden is relatively secluded on a terrain terrace and can now be reached via a mountain road from Domleschg via Scheid.

The first cable car from Rhäzüns to Feldis/Veulden was built in 1959 and replaced by a new, modern cableway in 2006 after the first concession expired.
