Havdhem: Church, Cultural Landscape and Kistänge

The two-storey main building was constructed in 1763 from limestone and sandstone and is considered a large-scale example of mid-18th-century architecture on Gotland. Kistänge: Nature in a Rural Setting

Kistänge nature reserve lies just over a kilometre east of the village. The area covers 4.3 hectares and is the surviving remnant of a formerly much larger meadow area. It is precisely this contrast between the small natural area and the agriculturally shaped surroundings that gives Kistänge its distinctive character.
