Arboretum and Landscape

The botanical route through the Vivero Forestal de Quintanilla del Rebollar showcases the diversity of the species produced there throughout its history. The development of the site can be linked to a specific date: the Vivero Forestal de Quintanilla del Rebollar became an arboretum in 1992. Roblón de Ulemas is listed near Quintanilla del Rebollar as tree number 52. Thus, the connection with nature extends from a botanical route and historically produced species to a single individually numbered tree.

Culture and Local Life

The Iglesia de San Clemente Papa y Mártir is a Renaissance church with a nave, a side chapel, stone arches, Encamonada-style vaults and a moulded roof overhang. The Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rebollar originally had a single-nave layout. The two churches therefore represent different architectural descriptions: Renaissance elements and several furnishing details are recorded for San Clemente, while the original form of the nave is recorded for Nuestra Señora del Rebollar. On Plaza Mediavilla, the traditional Fuente-Abrevadero-Lavadero de Quintanilla del Rebollar hydraulic complex combines a drinking-water fountain, a livestock trough and a washing area. In Quintanilla del Rebollar, children regularly play Bolos in summer.
