On the other side of the dam stands the Anta Casota do Foxo on a small hill, with panoramic views of the surrounding area. The Castro de San Pedro de Muíños is one of the Castro sites identified in the municipality of Muíños.
The parish church of Igrexa de San Pedro de Muíños has a tower integrated into the façade, whose belfry is octagonal. Inside are depictions of Saint Peter and Saint Anthony.
The parish of Muíños (San Pedro) includes the Capela da Clamadoira, a Marian sanctuary with a traditional pilgrimage. The same parish is home to the Capela de Rañadoiro, a small single-nave chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Pillar.
The Capela de Mugueimes features Baroque design elements on its portal, façade windows and cornice moulding. The Igrexa de San Andrés de Porqueirós has a rectangular floor plan with a raised presbytery.
Inside the Igrexa de San Andrés de Porqueirós are a tabernacle with the theological virtues, as well as depictions of Saint Andrew, Saint Blaise, Saint Anthony and the Immaculate Conception. The Igrexa de San Miguel de Xermeade is single-nave and has a round arch on pilasters leading to the presbytery.
