A Reza: Hiking Trails, Procession and Miño History

Historically, the A Barca ferry crossing was located near A Reza on the left bank of the Miño. Travellers and pilgrims from Portugal crossed there to the right bank and reached Ribadavia. The ferry crossing connected the left bank of the Miño with the right bank and is associated with the historic route from Portugal to Ribadavia. A Barca was therefore a crossing point for travellers and pilgrims who crossed the Miño.
