On the second Saturday in September, the Fira Sa Pobla Coenta celebrates Coent, a spicy pepper ingredient. The programme in Plaça Major includes tastings, a communal meal of Fideus Coents de Marjal and children's workshops. Art i Copes is a three-day contemporary art event held on the second weekend in October. Now in its 15th edition or later, it features exhibitions, live music, dance, theatre, video art and installations in municipal and private spaces. In November, the Fira de l’Arròs Pobler brings together gastronomy, folk culture and traditional music, with rice—a significant local product—at its heart.
The weekly market also offers a practical glimpse of what is available locally: it takes place every Sunday in Plaça Major and the surrounding streets.
