History

Casa Larios was built in 1888 and now serves as a cultural and educational centre, as well as the seat of the Tenencia de Alcaldía of Torre del Mar. Villa Mercedes is a regionalist house in the Neo-Mudéjar style and is considered the only surviving house of its kind in its surroundings on the Paseo de Larios from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
