Discover San Telmo

The San Telmo mine has been used for mining since prehistoric times and operated from 1854 to 1992. San Telmo’s origins are closely linked to mining. For visitors, this creates a place where historical traces, paths and regional traditions are closely intertwined.

At the end of July, San Telmo celebrates the Velada in honour of its patron saint, San Telmo. The Velada includes a procession and workshops on traditional games, including “captura de gallo”.
