Discover Hrboltová: Church, Forest Park and Cycling Tour

The Church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria in Hrboltová preserves part of an originally Gothic church built in the 13th century as a side chapel; it was remodelled in the 19th century. Among the oldest structures in the area are the masonry stone granaries in Hrboltová. These historic stone granaries house an exhibition on the history of the Hrboltová district. Hrboltová Forest Park offers an easy walk to war memorials and a viewpoint. An easily accessible viewpoint is located in the upper part of the forest park. The central area contains memorials to those who fell in the First and Second World Wars. The traditional “Stavanie mája” celebration was announced for Hrboltová. As part of it, a procession from the Church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria to the Potočná bus stop was planned.
