The Latin Church in Prokuplje is a single-nave building constructed between 1340 and 1360. In Kuršumlija stands the Monastery of Saint Nicholas, a foundation of Grand Župan Stefan Nemanja, which was established in the seventh decade of the 12th century. Fragments of frescoes from the first half of the 13th century have been preserved in the chapel of the south tower.
