The АРСЕНАЛ Museum of the Zlatoust arms factory complements the visit with a collection of more than 1,200 products. Visitors who want to see both places can experience the craft from practical and museum perspectives, though a holiday apartment does not automatically include workshop places or admission.

City and art history

The Museum of the History and Culture of the City was founded as a mining district museum as early as 1825. This early origin makes it a historical landmark in its own right. The museum workshop of sculptor Vladimir Sharikov displays sculptures, reliefs, repoussé work and woodwork. In his sculpture workshop, visitors can create a city coat of arms, a vase based on the master’s forms or their own clay piece. The activities are described specifically, but this does not guarantee a particular workshop time or participation on every day of a trip.

The cultural complex with its bell tower and Chapel of St John Chrysostom tells the story of the city and the saint’s life. From a height of 36.5 metres, visitors can enjoy views of Zlatoust and the surrounding area. This is a different activity from visiting a museum or taking a workshop.
