The Pădurea Bujorului nature reserve lies on the southern slope of Dealul Bujorului in the Babadag Plateau. It covers almost 51 hectares and is a botanical nature reserve with a sub-Mediterranean forest, numerous endangered bird and animal species, and wild-growing peonies. The protected clearings of Vârful Secarul feature Pontic steppe vegetation, rocky vegetation, and thermophilic trees.
