Chapel and ecclesiastical culture in Menaságújfalu

The chapel in Menaságújfalu was built in 1802 and restored. In connection with the restoration, a new organ and a new tabernacle were blessed; after the work was completed, a thanksgiving Mass was celebrated there on 23 October. Holy Mass is held in the church in Menaságújfalu on Sundays at 9 a.m. The chapel represents the year of construction and the restoration, while the church represents the regular Sunday service at 9 a.m. In Menaságújfalu, historic architecture, restored furnishings and a regular service thus come together at two ecclesiastical sites.

Mural, RÉTI House and regional memory

A mural in Armășenii Noi preserves only the final scenes: the severing of a tendon and the killing of a Cuman. The vault of a Baroque gallery conceals a significant part of the painted surface and explains why more has not survived. The RÉTI House in Menaságújfalu is associated with a ligature containing a dozen letter characters, documented by Ferenc Adorján. The two cultural traces are located in different villages: the mural is in Armășenii Noi, while the RÉTI House is in Menaságújfalu.

The historic site Casa Memorială Imre Nagy is located in the surroundings of Armășenii Noi. Also in the surrounding area are the monastery Mânăstirea Franciscană Miercurea Ciuc, the monastery Mânăstirea Ortodoxă Sfântul Nicolae and the monument Monumentul Luptei Anticomuniste. The monument represents anti-communist remembrance, while the two monasteries represent different religious traditions. Position among the villages on the Fiság

A road branches off from the main road of the Ciuc region at the Akó Gate and leads to the chain of villages lined up along the Fiság, including Menaságújfalu. Menaságújfalu lies at an elevation of 753 m and is one of the three lower settlements in the settlement chain along the Fiság. In terms of its built-up area, it has grown together with Csíkbánkfalva and Csíkszentgyörgy. The road at the Akó Gate, its location in the lower settlement chain and its built-up connection with the neighbouring villages are three distinct geographical references for Menaságújfalu.
