A different perspective is offered by the PR10_MFR – Paisagens de São Julião. This hiking trail begins and ends beside the Ermida de São Julião. It reaches a cliff above a meander of the River Lizandro; from there, the estuary and its associated beach are visible. At the cliffs of São Julião, the local flora accompanies views of the ocean. Foz do Lizandro beach is located in the Freguesia da Carvoeira. Its natural landscape is closely connected with the River Lizandro, which flows into the sea there.
