At Dino Parque Lourinhã, there is an activity pavilion where visitors can try out palaeontological activities. Another unusual item on the programme is BRICKOPOLIS LOURINHÃ. On 3 April 2025, the diorama was recognised by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ as the world's largest LEGO® brick diorama and covers more than 70 m². In addition to fossils and landscapes, Lourinhã therefore offers experiences that can provide plenty of conversation, especially when travelling with children.

Churches, Fortresses and Museum Culture

One of the notable historic buildings is Forte de Paimogo, also known as Nossa Senhora dos Anjos de Paimogo. The small bastioned fort is part of Baroque military architecture, was built in 1674 and was classified as an “Imóvel de Interesse Público” by Decree No. 41191 of 18 July 1957. Those interested in architectural history and historic defensive structures can include this site as a cultural focus in their travel plans.

Igreja e Convento de Santo António dates back to a community of Capuchin Recollects founded in 1598. Igreja de Santa Maria do Castelo is a Gothic church from the 14th century. In addition, Museu da Lourinhã offers museum sections dedicated to archaeology, ethnography and palaeontology.
