The blue-marked Szlak Mocy i Tradycji is on a different scale: it is 43 kilometres long and starts and ends in the square in front of Łobez railway station. The route crosses the Wysoczyzna Łobeska and the Równina Nowogardzka, as well as the municipalities of Łobez and Resko. It passes through fields, mixed forests, hills, valleys and wetlands; the trail also crosses the Rega several times and follows it nearby on multiple occasions. Compared with the two Nordic walking routes, the much greater distance is the key difference to consider when planning. If you want to experience different types of landscape on a hike, you can consider this trail as a longer alternative to the shorter routes at Polana Jahna.
Architecture and history along different routes
Culture lovers can plan their stay differently, too. The Szlak Dziedzictwa Techniki i Architektury cycle route was created to showcase local architectural and technological heritage from the 19th and 20th centuries. Its focus is therefore on the history of buildings and technology. Bonin church offers a specific historical connection: Luis von Borcke built it in 1845. Its tower has a Baroque cupola dating from the 18th century; the furnishings also include a Mannerist altar from the 17th century and a Baroque pulpit from the 18th century. The building date and its furnishings therefore span different centuries. If you are interested in architecture, you can choose between the themed cycle route and this individual building when planning your trip.
