With its palace, Skoczów preserves a distinctive testament to architecture and the past. The building dates from the early 19th century and is located in a park. Due to its high architectural and historical value, it qualified for inclusion in the register of monuments.

The history of the place goes back further: According to a document from 1276, Skoczów was created through the merger of two or three Slavic villages or hamlets called Zambowe, Zeliciz and Speprav, which were later collectively referred to as Schotsow.

In the 15th century, Skoczów was owned by the Benedictine nuns of Kołobrzeg. After the Reformation and the secularisation of the monastery estates, Skoczów became a noble residence.

Nature

Skoczów's natural heritage includes a London plane tree, which is protected as a natural monument and has a trunk circumference of 388 cm. The black pine is also protected as a natural monument; its trunk circumference is 320 cm.

The beaches of Plaża w Ustroniu Morskim and Sianożęty Plaża are located in the vicinity of Skoczów. The wider regional area also includes Plaża Sarbinowo and Płaza Kolobrzeg.
