Geographical Location

Berezka is located on the Bereźnica stream in the municipality of Solina.

History

The history of Berezka has been documented since the 15th century. The village is associated with the manor of the Bal family and a former landscape park. This historical connection is well suited to a stay focused on local history.

Only remains of the former manor have survived. The former brick village church from the 19th century fell into disrepair; a Greek Catholic chapel was later expanded into a Roman Catholic church.

Nature

Ancient oaks and an old pine tree in Berezka have been designated as natural monuments.

Character of the Village

Today, Berezka is a small settlement with the character of a summer holiday resort.
