The roadside chapel at 120 1 Maja Street in Skrzyszów is listed in the heritage register and classified as Roman Catholic sacred architecture.
The brick parish church was built between 1933 and 1936 and contains a Renaissance altar dedicated to Saint Lawrence from 1600. The parish church, dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, played an important role in the life of Skrzyszów. It also contains a boat-shaped pulpit carved by Konarzewski.
The chapel with the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk in Skrzyszów was moved to a new location near the church and blessed there. The statue, dating from 1854, was restored, and the new chapel resembles the previous one.

The 54-kilometer circular route of the Żelazny Szlak Rowerowy runs through Skrzyszów, which lies at kilometer 8 of the route. A large part of the cycle path runs along former railway tracks.
The Żelazny Szlak Rowerowy is considered easy to ride, so less experienced cyclists and children can also complete the route.

In the area of the municipality of Godów, the landscape is hilly and traversed by the picturesque valleys of the four rivers Olza, Leśnica, Szotkówka, and Piotrówka.
