Culture
The indulgence feast of the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Kobyla takes place on the Sunday after the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Construction of the church in Kobyla began in 1935. Kobyla was first mentioned in 1212 in a register of the settlements of the Racibórz castellany.
The horse procession in honour of Saint Urban in Kobyla was revived after an interruption; the local tradition continues to this day. The procession passes through Kobyla to eight roadside crosses.

The signposted Joseph von Eichendorff Youth Trail runs from Markowice to Kobyla and continues along field paths to Kornowac.
The blue-marked cycle route no. 317 is 30.5 km long. It runs through hilly terrain and is physically demanding. The cycling loop through the castles and palaces of the Racibórz area includes a challenging climb in Kobyla and is intended for cyclists with an intermediate level of experience.
The signposted Gołęszyców Trail runs from Racibórz Kamieniok via Brzezie and Kobyla to Grodzisko and Syrynia.

The Halda Szarlota hill is located in the vicinity of Kobyła. In the wider regional surroundings of Kobyła are Vinná hora mountain, Hranečník hill and Obora hill.
