Grodzisko Waćmierek is protected both in the monument register and in the monument inventory. It is considered a well-preserved lowland hillfort site on a peninsula of the former Jezioro Gniszewskie. The path leads uphill from the car park; after 500 m, you reach Grodzisko Waćmierek.
A former dam once divided Jezioro Waćmierek and led from the former estate to a hill. Remains of the former estate owners’ cemetery have survived on this hill to this day. Remarkable Douglas firs also stand there. To this day, part of the manor park in Waćmerek stands out from the surrounding fallow land, shrubs and naturally occurring tree growth because of its tree population.
