Lubichowo can be discovered through its forests, water and culture. In the municipality, forests cover more than 60 percent of the total area; around half of this forest area belongs to the Bory Tucholskie.

Forests, river landscapes and historic sites give a stay different focal points. Active routes, nature observation and cultural sightseeing can therefore be considered separately without reducing Lubichowo's character to just one type of excursion.

Nature and Water

The Wda crosses the Lubichowo municipality over a distance of approximately 17 km and offers a varied route for canoeing there. Beaver lodges can be found along the Wda within the municipality; the river is also used for fishing there.

Among the waterfowl found in the Lubichowo municipality are mute swans, herons, cormorants, ducks and cranes. Lubichowskie Lake lies south of Lubichowo; its reed-lined shores provide a habitat for waterfowl, including ospreys, herons, cormorants and cranes.

Two broad-leaved lime trees in the Lubichowo cemetery are designated natural monuments and are approximately 150 years old. An avenue of ten lime trees in Lubichowo is considered a natural monument; the trees are approximately 150 years old.

A route from Lubichowo reaches the Wda and then continues for approximately 4.7 km through a wooded landscape.

Routes and Activities

The southern section of the Szlak Jezior Kociewskich – odcinek południowy is 33.2 km long and runs between Ocypel and Osiek. It is almost entirely suitable for cycling tourism. You can consider the different route lengths and types of activity separately when organizing the scope of your excursions. The 33.2 kilometres of the southern section contrast with a route that continues for approximately 4.7 kilometres through the forest after reaching the Wda. These figures make the difference between a longer cycling tour and a shorter wooded route section visible.

For the right holiday apartment in Lubichowo, the travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions remain separate details. They can be taken into account depending on the planned focus of the stay, while forests, water, cycling tourism or culture provide the thematic framework.
