History and Landscape

The history of Krynki dates back to the 15th century, when a Lithuanian manor was established along the route from Vilnius to Kraków.

The former manor park is situated on a slight hill beside a reservoir. The Krynka River flows into this reservoir, which covers approximately five hectares.

The town has a former manor park, locally known as the “old park”, which was laid out near Kościelna Street in the second half of the 17th century.

In the immediate surroundings, Kruszyniany is associated with the municipality of Krynki through a historic mosque, a mizar, and the heritage of the Polish Tatars. The Polish Tatars have lived there for more than 300 years.
