Discover Rogozino
Accommodation in Rogozino
Rogozino can be explored through different layers of history: the parish church of Saint Faustina was consecrated in 2006, while the neoclassical manor house dates to the late 19th century. There is also the choral history of Rogozino Cantat, whose eighth edition took place in 2019. Another point of interest is the Orlik sports complex, with a specified period of public access in autumn 2026. When looking for a holiday apartment, you can therefore consider cultural interests and set opening times as separate criteria.

Parish church and local history
The parish in Rogozino was established on 29 June 2006. On the same day, Bishop Stanisław Wojciech Wielgus consecrated the new parish church of Saint Faustina, Apostle of Divine Mercy. The establishment of the parish and the consecration of the church thus share a date in the town’s history.
The church was built at the initiative of priests Kazimierz Kowalski and Ryszard Paradowski. Parishioners from the parish of Saint James in Płock-Imielnica also took part in the construction and donated funds. Thus, the church’s history includes not only its dedication and consecration date, but also the priests involved and the support of parishioners.
The manor house from the late 19th century
Another architectural landmark is the manor house in Rogozino. It dates from the late 19th century, is built of brick, features neoclassical design and is listed as a historic monument. Brick identifies the building material; “neoclassical” describes a style inspired by antiquity. Its date, material and style offer different ways to place the building in its cultural and historical context. Chronologically, the manor house predates the parish church consecrated in 2006: the two buildings represent different chapters of local history.
Rogozino Cantat and choral history
At the eighth edition of Rogozino Cantat in 2019, the parish church welcomed choirs from Płock, Płock County and Gostynin County. The event thus brought together choirs from several named towns and counties. For this edition, the choirs’ artistic standard, a professional jury and the competition’s special atmosphere were cited as reasons for its recognition and popularity in the choral world.
One edition of the festival took place as part of the 13th Parish Picnic. It was organised by the School and Preschool Complex in Rogozino and the Parish of Saint Faustina in Rogozino. These details add the setting of a specific event and the local organisations involved to the choral history.
The Orlik’s limited period of public access
From 1 September to 31 October 2026, the Orlik sports complex was open to the public outside school hours: Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 9 pm. The stated weekend hours begin seven hours earlier than on weekdays. If your trip falls within this period, you can take this difference into account when planning your day. These times apply specifically to the stated period in autumn 2026.
Combining cultural interests with your holiday apartment search
When looking for a holiday apartment in Rogozino, it helps to distinguish between the different time references: the church and manor house offer cultural and historical points of interest, Cantat is part of the event history of 2019, and an access window is specified for the Orlik in autumn 2026. Consider whether you would rather plan your trip around architectural and church history or a specific time window in your daily schedule. This way, you can match your choice of accommodation to the interests that matter to you during your stay.
