A sanctuary of spruce wood and granite

The chapel, also known as the Matki Bożej Dobrej Rady sanctuary, was built from spruce wood sourced from the highlands of the Ślęża Massif. The building stands on a granite foundation. The wood and stone create different accents: the spruce wood reflects the material from the massif, while the granite forms the building’s foundation. Beside the sanctuary stands a bell tower shaped like a chapel with a lantern—a separate structure that complements the ensemble.

The stained-glass windows also give the sanctuary a distinctive theme. Created by Maria Gostylla Pachucka, the windows depict symbols of the Holy Spirit and the vegetation of the nearby Łąka Sulistrowicka nature reserve.
