Strzelin combines striking reminders of its urban and architectural history with places where the rocks and landscape forms of the surrounding area can be seen. Particularly distinctive is the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross: it was built in the 15th century as a convent church of the Order of Poor Clares, constructed in the Gothic style from local granite, and has a cruciform layout with an extended chancel.
Those who choose Strzelin as their destination can combine their stay with the desire to rent a holiday apartment.
Culture
The Powder Tower Bastion is the only tower of Strzelin's former fortifications that has survived to this day. The tower was built in the 15th century on a rectangular ground plan and is approximately 15 metres high.
The former St. George's Hospital Chapel has housed the Galeria Skalna since 1993. It is managed by the Strzeliński Ośrodek Kultury.
The House of the Dukes of Brzeg was built in 1605–1606 in the Renaissance style as a ducal court. It is currently not accessible to visitors.
St. Gotthard's Church in Strzelin is now a two-nave church with a rotunda at the western wall of the northern nave.
Nature
Skalny Park is located by Strzelin railway station and displays nine types of rock quarried in Strzeliński County. The park also features a geotourism map of the Strzelińskie and Lipowe Hills, as well as an information board about granite, the most important rock quarried in Strzelin.
Strzelin's water tower stands on the slope of Góra Szańcowa and is now used as a viewing tower. From there, visitors can see the Strzelińskie Hills, the Ślęża Massif and part of the Silesian Lowland.
Armii Krajowej Municipal Park was established on a natural hill in the southern part of Strzelin.
