Proszowice’s historic urban complex is a well-preserved example of a medieval town layout. The focus is not just on one individual building, but on the layout as a whole. This offers a different way of exploring the town’s history than looking at individual later landmarks.

The Jewish cemetery in Proszowice was established in the late 18th century or the first half of the 19th century. A memorial plaque was unveiled there on 29 August 2023 as part of a commemorative ceremony. The parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St John the Baptist also preserves a detail with a specific date: its main altar dates from 1634 and was created by Kraków sculptor Mikołaj Przybysławczyk. River Meadows, Parks and Exercise

Proszowice city park lies north of the town, in the river meadows. It was established in the 1920s and covers about four hectares between the Szreniawa River and its left tributary. Its riverside setting and modest size give the park a clearly defined landscape character.

Harvest festivals are held annually in Kościelec. The village also hosts the football tournament named after Leszek Kokosiński, in which football teams from Powiat Proszowicki take part.
