Klucze combines the landscape of the Błędowska Desert with walking routes and remarkable architecture in the town. Experience the Desert Landscape from Czubatka

The Błędowska Desert extends east as far as Klucze. The Biała Przemsza valley divides the area. From the Czubatka viewpoint, you can see the southern and northern parts; the northern, military-use section lies on the Chechło side. The elevated vantage point makes the landscape’s divisions clear and gives your visit a specific landmark to orient yourself by.

The Czubatka viewpoint is accessible on foot or by car via Rudnicka, Podgórna and Górna streets. The Żółty Szlak Pustynny (Yellow Desert Trail) crosses the 382 m-high viewpoint hill and then passes through the built-up area of Klucze. From the viewpoint, the yellow hiking trail leads to the Błędowska Desert and its tourist facilities, including viewing platforms, shelters and educational trails. Check local signage when planning, as trail conditions can change.

Róża Wiatrów is in the southern part of the Błędowska Desert. It can be reached via the signposted district road No. 1095 K (Klucze–Bolesław). This named location can also be included when finding your way around the desert landscape.

For a cycling trip, the blue Przylaszczkowy Cycling Route offers a clearly defined circuit: it is 41 km long and starts and ends in Klucze. Velo Pustynia is a completed hiking and cycling route that goes around the Błędowska Desert. Its connected viewpoints include Czubatka in Klucze, which offers a panoramic view of the desert. The two routes are described differently: one has a stated length and start and end points, while the other circles the desert.

The hiking routes also have different highlights: the Żółty Szlak Pustynny (Yellow Desert Trail) crosses Czubatka and continues through the built-up area, while the yellow hiking trail from the viewpoint leads to the desert, viewing platforms, shelters and educational trails. Architecture and Local History

The Dietl Palace stands in the centre of Klucze. This eclectic building dates from the early 20th century. Built in the historicist style, it draws on the Italian Neo-Renaissance and incorporates elements of Swiss resort architecture. Its range of stylistic influences offers a cultural highlight alongside the landscapes and routes. Remains of a former park surround the building.

Klucze-Osada also bears traces of local history: it has 19th-century buildings dating from the construction of the paper mill. They are among the sights along the route. Their connection to the time when the mill was built adds another historical dimension to the architectural perspective on the town centre.
