Nature

The approximately 15 km-long “Smólnik–Kosinowo–Ruda” route is located in the buffer zone of the Gostynińsko-Włocławski Landscape Park. At the same time, this route is a forest nature trail.

Hiking

The 18 km-long blue “Łącznikowy” hiking trail runs from Kowal via Smólnik to the Mostki PKS bus stop on Road No. 62 between Włocławek and Płock; Smólnik is located at kilometre 15.9 of the route. The “Łącznikowy” trail therefore passes through Smólnik.

Culture

St. Bartholomew’s parish church in Smólnik was built between 1969 and 1974. It was designed by the architect and engineer Aleksander Holas from Poznań. Since 2008, the main wall has featured a large stained-glass window depicting a dove with outspread wings.

The “Green School” in Smólnik offers outdoor, laboratory, and sports and recreational activities relating to ecology, nature conservation, and regional culture.
