Grabina Park and the view over the Brda
The 23.7-hectare Grabina Park is a remnant of the once extensive forests in the Brda Valley and surrounds Koronowo to the southwest. Churches and regional history
The former Cistercian monastery church is a three-aisled basilica with a transept and two rows of chapels. The three aisles shape the building, while the transept and rows of chapels add to its distinctive form. The Church of St. Andrew is also three-aisled, with its Gothic style providing a distinctive feature of its own. Its present form dates from 1599. The churches can thus be distinguished both by their architectural layout and by a precise date.
The Izba Muzealna Ziemi Koronowskiej features a permanent exhibition of artefacts related to the history of the Koronowo region. It complements the architectural history with a look at regional artefacts. Walking trails and educational trail
Three marked PTTK walking trails are listed for Koronowo. The “Szlak Brdy” runs through the town, including along Pomianowskiego and Paderewskiego Streets. The “Szlak Białego Węgla” also passes through Koronowo; the “Szlak Jeziora Koronowskiego” runs through the town at Tuszyny. The first trail therefore has two streets listed as local reference points, while the descriptions of the other trails highlight Koronowo and Tuszyny respectively.
The “Cysterski Gaj” educational trail offers a different way to explore the area: it is about 5 km long and has 20 information boards with historical and natural history descriptions. Its approximate length gives you a concrete idea of the distance, while the boards bring together themes of nature and history.
