Lake Routes with Different Starting Points
The “Wokół Jastrowskich Jezior” cycling and hiking trail was established in 2004 at the initiative of the Jastrowie Forest District to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the State Forests. On the blue route, a wooden promenade leads from the town beach to the “wild beach”; the trail then continues between the lakes to Jastrowie. The route description thus links a specific historical occasion with a sequence of beach areas and lakes.
The Jastrowie–Diabli Skok cycling and hiking trail, by contrast, starts at Plac Jana Pawła II in the centre of Jastrowie. From there, the route passes through the town park and continues along Roosevelta Street. The two trails offer different points of reference: “Wokół Jastrowskich Jezior” focuses on the beach connection and the route between the lakes, while the Jastrowie–Diabli Skok trail is described as starting in the centre and passing through the town. At Lake Duże: Beach Resort and Seasonal Offers
The municipal beach resort is on Lake Duże, which was formerly also called Miejskie or Leśne. These former names refer to the same body of water. During the season, the beach resort has a small shop, simple food services and watercraft rentals. Church Tower and Railway Bridge
