Culture and history

The estate in Godziszewo includes a red-brick manor house built in 1910 for the estate manager. Behind the manor house lies a landscape park from the second half of the 19th century, covering 4 hectares.

From 1696 until the Second World War, Godziszewo belonged to the Chobienice estates of the Mielżyński family. A group of four-family houses from the early 20th century has been preserved along the access road to the manor house. Godziszewo was first mentioned in 1391 under the name “Godzeszewo” as a noble village owned by Dobiesław Godziszewski.
