Borowo is located on the edge of the Noteć Pradolina. In the area of the Noteć Pradolina near Borowo, the valley floor lies at 50 to 52 m above sea level. The differences in elevation around Borowo give the landscape a foothill-like character. Geographical Location

History and Culture

The history of Borowo probably dates back to the 18th century. Borowo emerged as a small settlement after Józef Bętkowski began settling Olęder settlers on his estates.

The Evangelical cemetery in Borowo dates from the second half of the 19th century and is listed in the register of monuments and the monument inventory.

A large cross stands on the hill before the entrance to Borowo, erected by the residents long ago. The entire settlement is clearly visible from this hill.

Cycling

The 22 km-long R-8 “Jaktorowo” cycle route passes through Borowo and is signposted according to PTTK standards.
