At the signposted junction, turn left and continue along the forest road to Forhaugen. There is a bench there where you can rest. The old Aureosen school is an important landmark for the starting point: the Aureosen Tursti begins there, and there is parking for the trail. Buses also stop at the school. The FRAM bus route from Molde to Elnesvågen runs via Jendem; you can get off at the old school.
