A typical speciality is the Bossche Bol. The pastry is made from choux pastry, filled with whipped cream and covered with melted chocolate fondant; it has a diameter of 12 cm.

The “Van Bosch naar Bossche bol” route is a 5.8-kilometre food-themed walk in ’s-Hertogenbosch. It leads to the bakery Jan de Groot opposite the main railway station in the city centre, where visitors can taste original Bossche Bollen.
