Castle, park and churches

Only a few remains of Blitterswijck Castle have survived; an information board describes the castle. The St. Anthony Abbot Guild of Blitterswijck had the bridge over the canal to the former printing house and the castle gate rebuilt at the castle ruins; both were ceremonially opened on 10 November 2019.

The walk through Kasteelpark Blitterswijck along Kasteellaan is 150 metres long. It includes four experience stations about the development of the 14th-century castle into a château, its monastic period and its subsequent destruction. At the indicated stations, the free Venray Remembers app can project an augmented-reality video onto the surroundings.

The Church of Our Lady has a nave from the 15th century, as well as a choir and transept dating from 1951. The Reformed Church is a rectangular building from 1822 with pointed-arch windows and Ionic pilasters framing the entrance.
