The town's history is also visible in specific locations. Count Arnold was buried in 1579 in St Martin's Church in Beek; his gravestone was discovered in 1990. The Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Wonderdadige Medaille Chapel was designated a municipal monument in 2010. As a twelve-sided structure made of concrete, iron and glass, it provides a distinctive architectural accent.

The Oude Pastorie is a visitor centre with information about the history of the region and the natural environment of South Limburg. It was built between 2016 and 2017 around a preserved remnant of a Vroenhof dating from the late 18th century. The Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Wonderdadige Medaille Chapel stands at the entrance to Kelmonderbos and can also be reached via steps from Molenberg. The Kelmonderbosroute passes through the green area around Kelmond and Klein-Genhout, along the distinctive natural surroundings of the Keutelbeek and through a park, woods, avenues and orchards.

On the Route vol Verwondering, 360-degree tours and/or audio tours are offered at more than 30 stations.

Exploring by bicycle

Natuurtransferium Beek is located between Sportlandgoed De Haamen and the Oude Pastorie. You can reach it by following cycle junctions 113 to 114 or entering De Haamen 1 in Beek as your destination. Beek is also a junction on a cycling route of approximately 65 kilometres; visitors looking for recreation can join it there.

At Mini Bikepark Beek, young people in particular can safely learn the skills they need for gravel or mountain biking off-road. The bike park is suitable for people with disabilities.
