Vento Vivimus and the history of the village

Vento Vivimus is a brick-built, round grain belt mill that was constructed in 1875. The mill is a Dutch Rijksmonument and is also capable of milling. Since 1991, volunteers have milled grain there into animal feed. The year of construction, 1875, falls within the 19th century.

The Hervormde Kerk van Hurwenen was designed by H.A. Pothoven and G. Pothoven and built in 1947. The former church building had been severely damaged during the Second World War before the Hervormde Kerk was constructed. The church is a municipal monument.
