The Windlust grain mill was built by Wiebe Hooisma; its brick base was newly constructed, while the upper structure comes from Mijdrecht. It is the largest mill in Friesland and the surrounding area. Huize Lindenoord was rebuilt on the same site in the Louis XVI style after the previous country house was destroyed by fire in 1776. The Grietenijhuis in Wolvega was built in 1835 on behalf of Grietman Nicolaas van Heloma and the assessors of Weststellingwerf.
